Ingredients:
- Mushroom – 10 (sliced)
- Frozen Peas – ¼ cup
- Onions – 1 small (chopped)
- Tomatoes – 1 large
- Ginger garlic paste – 1 tsp
- Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
- Chili powder – ½ tsp
- Garam masala – ½ tsp
- Coriander powder – 1 tsp
- Pepper powder – ½ tsp
- Dried Fenugreek leaves (Kastoori methi) – 1 tsp (optional)
- Salt – to taste
- Oil – 1 tbsp
Method:
- Heat oil in a pan. Add the cumin seeds and allow them to crackle.
- Add in the chopped onions, ginger garlic paste and sauté till transparent.
- Add in the chopped tomatoes and cook till it becomes mushy.
- Now add turmeric powder, chili powder, garam masala, coriander powder, pepper powder and salt
- Add the mushrooms and frozen peas. Cook until mushrooms and peas are tender. Do not add water.
- Finally add kastoori methi for extra flavor and close the heat.
- Can be served with chapathi or curd rice.
